A beautiful sunny October Sunday we joined with the Marine Conservation Society and dozens of other volunteers to help clean up Formby beach.
At the end of the clean up our bags weighed in at 69kg including 768 individual pieces of plastic.
The top 3 finds: 117 plastic fragments (0-2.5cm); 104 pieces of glass; 88 drinks bottles / containers / drums
